location & shootA private shooting location in the hills near Tokyo — Fujino, Kanagawa
inou studio can be rented in full as a shooting location. A studio building and an accommodation building sit on a forested slope in Fujino, Kanagawa — about an hour by car from central Tokyo, with parking for three vans so you can drive right up to the door.
Music videos, artist photography, interviews, lookbooks, documentary. It was built as a music studio first, so shooting while sound is actually being made is entirely workable here.

What you can shoot
Interiors and exteriors give you distinctly different frames.
- Control room — a large window facing the mountains, SSL Big Six and synths across the desk
- Lounge — corner windows onto the forest, sofa bed, dining table
- Loft — a low-ceilinged space reached by ladder
- Kitchenette and shower room — small spaces with real texture
- Deck and grounds — a forested slope that changes with the season
- The wider satoyama — valleys under the Tanzawa range, forest, streams, villages

Light and time
The main window faces the mountains, so interior light shifts substantially across the day: flat white in the morning, open at midday, low and raking in the evening, milky when the fog comes in. Each reads as a different setup.
Because you have the whole property, nothing pushes you out at a fixed hour. Stay overnight and you can catch both first light and sunset within the same booking — and wait out the weather if you need to.

Load-in and logistics
There is parking for three vans, and you can drive straight onto the site. Nobody else is booked while you are here, so gear can stay set up overnight and you can pick up where you left off.
Tell us in advance about power requirements, access routes, and crew and cast numbers. The accommodation sleeps 2–3, so let us know if more people need to stay over.
